An unidentified projectile has been launched at the city of Dammam, eastern Saudi Arabia on Saturday night, local media reported.On early Sunday, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defense spokesman, Brigadier General Turki Al-Malki, issued an official statement confirming the attacks and their interception, saying that the air defense had destroyed a total of three ballistic missiles and three bomb-laden drones launched at the country's Eastern province, and the cities of Jazan and Najran.Furthermore, the ministry spokesman assured that the military will take "all necessary and deterrent measures" and ensure the safety of the citizens and the territory of the country.According to an earlier Al-Arabiya report, the Saudi-led coalition stated that it has intercepted a ballistic attack on the eastern region of Saudi Arabia.Moreover, the Arab coalition reportedly intercepted and destroyed three booby-trapped drones allegedly launched toward Saudi Arabia by Houthi fighters.
